Тема урока: Table manners for our school canteen.

Цели урока:

совершенствование лексико-грамматических навыков говорения по теме;

развитие навыков аудирования с целью извлечения конкретной информации; развитие способностей к осуществлению продуктивных речевых действий;

формирование положительной мотивации к изучению английского языка.

Организационный момент.

Good morning, everybody! I’m sure you are in a good mood and ready to work. Let’s start the lesson.

Фонетическая зарядка проводится как чтение стихотворения наизусть

(дети его уже хорошо знают, декламируют по цепочке).

People sometimes say to me:

“Tell me, what do you want to be?”

I usually answer: “I don’t know,”

But it isn’t really so.

I want to win an Olympic race,

I want to see the Earth from space,

I want to travel to Timbuktu,

I want to be rich and famous, too.

I want to star on Hollywood’s screen,

I want to invent a new machine,

I want to be very clever and wise,

I want to win the Noble prize.

But most of all, I want to be

Healthy and strong, and happy.

Постановка цели урока.

And so, children, what is the main idea of this poem?

Right you are – to be healthy. But to be healthy is not only to keep fit and do the sports. It also means to treat each other properly, to respect people around us, to behave correctly whatever we are. And today we are going to create a magazine «Table manners for our school canteen». That’s the main task of the lesson. Be careful, we should do a lot.

Sit still. Calm down and relax. The sun is shining brightly, the sky is fairly blue. Close your eyes and just imagine something pleasant. You hear wonderful music. You see a fine picture, don’t you? You can use gestures (move your hands, arms) to make me understand what you see. You see a white ship. You see the blue sky. You see the bright sun. You see the rainbow in the sky. You see the seagulls above the sea. You see a lot of beautiful flowers. Just smell! One more time! And once more! Do you like it? I think you do. And now open your eyes!
