Цели урока:

— ознакомить учащихся со значением экологически чистой воды в жизни человека; рассмотреть причины загрязнения водоёмов


Образовательная: обобщение лексико-грамматического материала по теме «Экология»

Развивающая: совершенствование навыков поискового чтения и монологического высказывания.

Воспитательная: привить учащимся бережное и экономное отношение к воде;

Оборудование: ноутбук, проектор, мультимедийная презентация, творческие работы учащихся.

Виды речевой деятельности: говорение, чтение, письмо

The beginning of the lessonТime: 2 min

Teacher (T.):  Good morning! How are you? I’m very glad to see you! Today we are going to discuss water pollution. So, let’s start our lesson.

VocabularyТime: 5 min

T.: For the first, let’s read the new words and phrases on the topic:

Clean and fresh water — чистая и свежая вода, wonderful nature – красивая природа, To protect nature – защищать природу, To solve ecological problems — решать экологические проблемы, litter – мусор, trash – хлам, мусор, rubbish – хлам, wastes – отходы, sewage – сточные воды, канализация, to dump – сбрасывать, hings to be reused and recycled — вещи для переработки и повторного использования, to pollute water – загрязнять воду, to throw rubbish into the river – выкидывать мусор в реку (Приложение 1)

T.: There are a lot of lakes and rivers around our Sosva. People like to swim in hot summer days there. Some people are fond of fishing. Siberian fish is very tasty. But many rivers are dirty now. On the bankes of the lakes and rivers there is a lot of litter. People leave bottles, paper, food after their resting. Sometimes they throw them into the water and it’s dangerous to swim there, because you can hurt you feet. That’s why it’s necessary to clean our lakes and rivers and keep them clean.

Well, read the text “Water Pollution”, find out the main problem, and answer the questions:

1. What is the main problem?

2. Where do some companies dump their chemical waste?

Do we have any water problems in Sosva?

What do we need to stop water pollution in our region?

Relaxing time: 2 min

Close your eyes. Imagine that you are in your boat in the middle of the water. Look around. What is it? It may be a pond, a lake, a river, a sea, an ocean. The water is calm… You are moving slowly… You are feeling

calm…Your face is calm… Your body is calm…Your arms are calm… Your legs are calm…Now you are caming back. Whan you hear five – open your eyes. One, two, three, four, five!

Group work (making projects): 7 min

T.: Well, now you are ready for making projects. Make a poster-project “Clean Water – 2010”. Add some phrases for protection the water into your posters:

1) Keep the water clean!

2) Protect the water from industrial pollution!

3) Save water!

4) Pick up litter! (Приложение 4)

T: Present, please, your project and choose the best one!
