Разработка урока учителя МБОУ СОШ №5 с УИОП Петровой Т.В.

к учебнику «Новый курс английского языка для российских школ» авторов О.В.Афанасьевой, И.В.Михеевой для 7 класса.

«The way we look»

Цели и задачи урока:

Отработка лексики, связанной с описанием внешности и характера человека в монологических и диалогических высказываниях.

Повторение грамматики: образование слов противоположного значения.

Повторение грамматических структур: Present Simple/ Present Progressive.

Развитие навыков проектной работы.

Развитие памяти, мышления, воображения учащихся.

Развитие творческого потенциала учащихся, их познавательного интереса.

Оборудование: картинки, магнитофон. Карточки, схема, доска.

Ход урока.

1.Приветствие.

( организационный момент, сообщение целей и задач урока)

Teacher: Good afternoon, children.

Pupils: Good afternoon.

Teacher: Sit down, please. I’m very glad to see you. How are you? Today we are having an interesting time together. The theme of our lesson “ The way we look”. Today we are going to talk about you and about your friends. You’ll describe appearances and characters. We’ll discuss who is friendly and honest and who is selfish. You’ll work in pairs, act out your dialogues, play a game and present your projects. Now look at the blackboard, please. You can see the word web. It’ll help us during the lesson. You can use it.

2.Фонетическая зарядка.

Teacher: look at the words and read them after me.

Teacher: So, let’s begin. When we speak about somebody’s figure, face, hands, or feet we mean his or her appearance. When we speak about somebody’s appearance we describe it. Today we’ll describe appearance. But first of all let’s revise everything.

3. Опрос учащихся. Приём припоминания.

Answer the following questions:

What can we tell about the figures of different people?

Who is the tallest boy in your class?

Who is the shortest girl in your class?

Are you tall enough for your age?

Is it better to be plump or thin?

What can you tell about the faces of different people?

What do you know about people’s hair?

Tell me about people’s eyes?

What colour of your eyes?

Thank you, your answers are perfect. Now work in pairs. Describe your best friend or someone in your class. Make up your dialogues using the words and expressions on the topic “Appearance”. You’ve got 3 minutes to do the tasks.

Teacher: Nice of you. Thank you. You’ve describe your friends and classmates. And what do you look like? Describe yourself, but don’t tell us your name. Let’s play a game “Who is it?” Read the description and guess who wrote it?

4. Игра « Угадай, кто это?»

/ дети на карточках описывают себя, учитель собирает их, а потом в разном порядке дети читают карточки и предполагают, о ком идёт речь/

5. Групповая работа.

Teacher: Well done. We go on. Describe your character or the character of your friend. But at first let’s revise the words. Look at the board. Here you can see some tasks.

Task 1. Match the characteristics with the correct definitions.

1.honest a. talks a lot

2.selfish b. tells the truth

3.serious c. doesn’t like working

4.lazy d. thinks deeply about things

5.talkative e. is interested only in him/herself

Task 2. Match the characteristics with the opposites.

1.friendly a. stupid

2.generous b. impolite

3.polite c. unkind

4.clever d. greedy

5.kind e. unfriendly

Teacher: So,let’s begin. What kind of person you are? What are your best or worst qualities? You may tell about yourself or about your friend.

Teacher: Well done. And now look at the blackboard at our word web. We have already described your appearance and your characters. But we have one more point – “Clothes”. Let’s discuss them. You can see an exercise on the blackboard. Somebody comes to the blackboard and do it.

Task 3. Make a list of clothes you have got which are:

6.Аудирование. Беседа по прослушанному.

/ Далее учитель предлагает детям прослушать текст и ответить на вопросы по тексту. Текст содержит лексику по теме «Одежда» /

Teacher: I’m pleased with your answers. Now we will check the written exercise…… Please, comment the exercise. Well done, thank you. We continue. As far as I know, teenagers like to wear different styles of clothes. What kind of clothing do you prefer? What do you usually wear? Why?

7.Обсуждение проектов.

Teacher: Thank you. And now it’s time to see your projects.

/ Группу учащихся представляют свои проекты, в которых сообщается тема, мнения детей по излагаемой теме /

8.Заключительный этап. Подведение итогов урока.

Teacher: Thank you very much. Now it’s high time to sum up everything we’ve done during the lesson. What we have done today?

Pupils: We have described our appearance and our characters. We have dramatized the dialogues. We have played a game.

Teacher: Good. What was the most interesting for you? What was difficult? Thank you very much for your work. Your marks… Good luck. Good bye.
