Урок английского языка в 5 классе по УМК Биболетовой М. З. «Enjoy English».

Unit 4 “Learning more about each other” ( Section 2,четвертый урок темы).

Тема урока: Getting on well with the family

Цель: создать условия для восприятия и понимания информации о жизни в семье на примере последнего русского царя Николая Второго и его семьи.

Задачи:

1. Учить читать текст, содержащий новые слова, с полным пониманием.

2.Тренировать учащихся в аудировании текста с опорой на иллюстративный материал и говорении по поводу услышаного.

3. Расширять кругозор, воспитывать уважение к истории России на примере описания царской семьи.

Оборудование: интерактивная доска, презентация, выполненная в программе Power Point, учебник, дидактический материал.

Обучение чтению с полным пониманием.

We read the text about Stephen′s family yesterday . It was interesting, isn′t it? Today I would like to tell you about one of the Russian families. I think, it is a very interesting and important story for us because it is a part of our history.

Ученики читают текст, просматривают слова перед текстом для снятия языковых трудностей. Новые слова можно прочитать вместе. Текст текста получает каждый ученик.

Read the text and try to guess: Who is this story about? Look and learn new words:

The family was very big: father, mother, four daughters and a little brother. The father′ s name was Nicholaus. He had the outstanding qualities of a men and a ruler. He had an excellent memory, exceptional energy and a broad learning, a strong will power. He was a slave to his word.

The mother′ s name was Alexandra. German by birth, she had a deep love for Russia. After the birth of her first child she gave all her attention to her children. She was an ideal wife and mother. She fed her children, bathed them, selected their nurses. Alexandra spent hours in the classroom, directing their studies. She was very busy: she liked knitting or painting in her free moments.

Her character was very complex and strong. She loved her husband and children, but her wishes were law.

The daughter′ s names were Olga,Tatiana, Maria, Anastasiya. The most wonderful child for the parents was their son Alexei. He was born in summer 1904 and became the center of the family, the favourite. He was very ill and the family took care of him. All children understood and help each other.
