с применением игровой технологии в 5 классе

«Pets»

Задачи урока:

Повторить употребление глагола can в утвердительных, отрицательных и вопросительных предложениях и обеспечить его отработку в серии языковых и речевых упражнений в рамках речевой ситуации «Что умеет / не умеет делать мой домашний любимец».

Формировать навыки диалогической речи, используя в качестве опоры упр.2.

Формировать навыки техники чтения и обеспечить их отработку в текстах и упражнениях.

Лексика урока:a cat, a dog, a rabbit, a parrot, a hamster, clever, sad, good, nice, kind, fat, thin, big, small, to play, to run, to jump, to speak Russian, to fly, to sleep, to swim, to open the door, to watch TV.

Дополнительные пособия: магнитола с CD диском, тематические картинки, грамматическая таблица «Употребление модального глагола ‘can’».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

Good morning boys and girls! Today we have the lesson on the topic “Pets”. You will remember words on the topic and will learn the grammar constructions “I can sing. He can’t swim. Can you play football? — Yes, I can. / No, I can’t”.

II. Основная часть.

1. Фонетическая разминка:

Say after me:

[k] – a cat, can, can not, Can your cat play the piano?

[r] – a parrot, a rabbit, to run, Russian

[t] – a cat, a rabbit, a parrot, a hamster, fat

2.Речевая разминка

Boys and girls, let’s talk about your pets. Answer my questions, please.

Have you got a pet?

What is he/she?

What is his/her name?

How old is he/she?

3. Введение грамматического материала, модальный глаголcan’.

Children, let’s look at the textbook on page 90 and read the rule about modal verb ‘can’. Masha, read the rule, please. And now let’s look at the table and repeat this rule again.

Задание 1. Students, look at the exercise 1 on page 91. Kate, read the task, please. Are these statements true about you? Верны ли данные утверждения по отношению к вам. Correct the false statements. Исправьте неверные утверждения. OK, and now let’s do it.

Задание 2. Open your Workbooks on page 48 and find exercise 1. Kolya, read the task, please. Translate the sentences into Russian. Переведите предложения на русский язык.

I can swim. – Я умею плавать.

He can dance. – Он умеет танцевать.

We can speak English. – Мы умеем говорить по-английски.

Can she sing? – Она умеет петь?

Can he play the piano? – Он умеет играть на пианино?

Can they read? – Они умеют читать?

We can’t stay with you. – Мы не можем остановиться у тебя.

He can’t go to London. – Он не может поехать в Лондон.

Задание 3. Boys and girls, let’s do exercise 2 in your Workbook. Let’s read the task together. Change the sentences according to the model. Поставьте предложения в вопросительную и отрицательную форму.

Model: I can sing. – Can I sing? I can’t sing.

You can dance. – Can you dance? You can’t dance.

They can drive. – Can they drive? They can’t drive.

He can fly. – Can he fly? He can’t fly.

We can play tennis. – Can we play tennis? We can’t play tennis.

4.Закрепление употребления глагола ‘can’.

Задание 1. And now let’s listen to the words of the song about Pafnutiy and fill in the gaps. Do exercise 2 in your textbook.

My cat can sing, my cat can walk.

My cat can watch TV.

My cat can do so many things

And it can play with me!

My cat can’t play computer games

And can’t sit on my bed.(Коту не разрешается сидеть на кровати).

But all in all

But all in all it is a super cat.

Задание 2. Let’s work in pairs. Ask questions and answer them.

Model: play computer games: Can the cat play computer games? – Yes, he can. / No, he can’t.

Sing, cook, play with Misha, sleep on his mat, paint, watch TV, bark.

Can the cat sing? – Yes, he can.

Can the cat cook? – No, he can’t.

Can the cat play with Misha? – Yes, he can.

Can the cat sleep on his mat? – No, he can’t.

Can the cat paint? – No, he can’t.

Can the cat watch TV? – Yes, he can.

Can the cat bark? – No, he cant.

Задание 3. Let’s play the game “snowball”. The rule of the game is the first pupil must say one sentence about this picture. The second pupil must say the sentence of the first pupil and his/her sentence. And so on.

Model: P1 —I have got a pet.

P2 — I have got a pet. It is a dog.

P3 — I have got a pet. It is a dog. His name is Rex.

P4 — I have got a pet. It is a dog. His name is Rex. Rex is two.

P5 — I have got a pet. It is a dog. His name is Rex. Rex is two. He can run.

P6 — I have got a pet. It is a dog. His name is Rex. Rex is two. He can run. He can jump.

P7 — I have got a pet. It is a dog. His name is Rex. Rex is two. He can run. He can jump. And he can play with me.

P8 — I have got a pet. It is a dog. His name is Rex. Rex is two. He can run. He can jump. And he can play with me. He can’t fly.

P9 — I have got a pet. It is a dog. His name is Rex. Rex is two. He can run. He can jump. And he can play with me. He can’t fly. I love my pet, Rex!

5. Физкультминутка.

6. Повторение правил чтения буквосочетаний.

Today we will repeat reading the words with letters sh, ng, er, ir.

The letters sh we must read [ʃ]: shop

The letters ng we must read [ŋ]: king

The letters er, ir (the third type of reading)we must read [ɜ:]: her, girl

Let’s do exercises from 6 to 10 on page 92 in your textbooks.

7. Домашнее задание

Do exercise A, B, C in your workbooks on page 50.
