Урок английского языка в 4 классе

на тему: “School life” (Школьная жизнь)

Цель урока: изучение новых лексических единиц по теме «Школьная жизнь»

Задачи:

Образовательные: формировать и развивать коммуникативные умения учащихся; умение воспринимать на слух и понимать небольшие сообщения.

Развивающие: развивать языковые, интеллектуальные способности, познавательный интерес школьников, готовность к коммуникации; формировать логическое мышление; вырабатывать умения и навыки групповой работы.

Воспитательные: формировать уважение и интерес к культуре и народу страны изучаемого языка; воспитывать интерес к учению и формировать познавательную активность; пробуждать творческие начала личности.

Оборудование:

Учебник: Верещагина И.Н. Английский язык. 4 класс:учеб. для общеобразоват. учреждений и шк. с углубл. изучением англ. яз. с прил. на электрон. носителе. В 2 ч. – М.: Просвещение, 2013. – 176 с.

Ход урока:

I. Организационный момент

– Good morning, children! Glad to see you! I hope you are fine today. Sit down, please.

– Who is on duty?

– What date is it today?

– What day of the week is it today?

II. Сообщение темы и цели урока.

T: The theme of our lesson is “School Life”. (слайд 1)

Today we are going to revise the words about school life, learn the new words, read, write the test.

III. Фонетическая и речевая разминка.

T: Look at the blackboard, listen and repeat the words after me. (слайд 2)

T: Answer my questions, please:

– When do they go to school?

– What do they do at school?

– Is their class small and dark?

– Is their class large and light?

IV. Повторение лексического материала.

T: Look at this task. Name the words (слайды 4-6).

T: Solve the crossword (слайд 7).

V. Введение новой лексики.

T: Listen to the story and raise your hands when you hear the new words you have learnt at the lesson.

I like sport and I spend much time on the sports ground. But I am in the 8th form and I haven’t much free time. I have got many subjects on the timetable at school. I learn well. My favourite subject is English. It is very important because I want to be a teacher of English. I like to read books of the famous English writers. I learn how to get on with people. They are very interesting. It is a pity when these books are over.

Затем учащиеся переводят предложения с новыми словами на русский язык (слайд 8) и упр.18 стр.74.

VI. Физкультминутка.

VII. Обучение аудированию.

T: Listen to the story and answer the questions.

“Now I want to describe my classroom. Listen to me attentively and then try to describe it. I would like to tell you some things about my classroom. It is comfortable and always clean. There are 20 desks in it. The teacher’s table is near the window. There are 3 big windows and one door in my classroom. The blackboard and the floor are green. There are nice pictures on the walls. There are three bookcases in the classroom. There are many books in the bookcases and some of them are very interesting. We often read books in class. I study Maths, History, Natural Study, P.E., Handicraft, English and so on. I like my classroom.”

Now try to answer the questions:

1. Is the classroom comfortable?

2. How many desks are there in the classroom?

3. Where is the teacher’s table?

4. Are there any pictures on the wall?

VIII. Game time (слайд 10)

T: open your books at p.74. Play a memory game. Look at the list of subjects for a moment, then cover it and name all the subjects you remember.

IX. Обучение чтению.

T: Open your books ex.9 p. 76. Read the text “Pete’s Birthday Party” and say why Pete calls his party “famous”.

T: Then say: true, false or don’t know (слайд 11).

Pete had the hardest school day on Friday.

Pete had an idea to have a party.

Pete didn’t have classes on Saturday.

Pete did five Maths exercises.

Pete put the plastic bag into the bookcase.

Nobody came to Pete at 5.

IX. Итог урока. (слайд 12-13)

T: -Do you like your work at the lesson?

– Что нового мы узнали сегодня на уроке?

– Что вам запомнилось?

– Let’s write down your homework (ex.11,12 p. 77).

– Thank you for your work.
