Урок в 3 классе на тему «Adjectives in Our Life» учителя английского языка Лубковской Е. В.

Цели урока:

Образовательная – закрепление навыков использования изученной лексики в речи, развитие навыков говорения;

Воспитательная – формирование позитивно-ориентированной личности;

Развивающая – развитие речевых способностей детей, фонематического слуха, психических функций (воображения, внимания, речевого мышления), развитие внутренней мотивации к дальнейшему овладению иноязычной речью.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент. Разминка.

T: Good morning, dear pupils. Sit down, please. Get ready and let’s start from tongue exercises. Repeat:

 fat, black

[e] red, clever

[I] quick, little, big, interesting

 funny, sunny, honey

[o] short, tall, small

T: Do you remember the poem with these words?

T/Pls together:

Short or tall

Big or small

Shadows dance

Upon the wall.

II. Знакомство с темой урока.

T: Look at the screen. (slide №2) Today I have a wonderful and interesting story for you. Do you remember the cartoon? That’s right. It’s from the Sword in the Stone.

1. Pupils read the story.

2. (Teacher shows their attention to the adjectives.)

III. Основная часть урока. Выполнение упражнений на заданную тему.

1. T: As you’ve already noticed, today we speak about different adjectives. You know lots of adjectives and use them quite often in your speech. You describe the characters, objects and situations. Now, look at the screen and match the word and the picture (slide №3):

2. A fat pirate/ a pretty girl/ a thin boy/ an old man/ a happy clown/ a tall friend.

3. Write the missing adjectives. (slide №4)

T reminds Pls the meaning of antonyms or opposites. (slides №5-8) Draw lines between the opposites (slide №9):













4. Pupils are given the text. (slide №10)

a) Pupils should complete the sentences to understand its meaning.

The Clown

( happy, clever, red, orange, kind, big, curly, blue)

b) Circle the words which belong to you. (slide №11)

I’m a big, small, tall, short, pretty, nice, clever, happy, sad, kind girl/boy.

c) Listen and colour the clown. (slide №12)

T: Colour the nose red. Colour the body green etc. (Дети раскрашивают полученные иллюстрации клоуна цветными карандашами.)

IV. Заключительная часть урока. Подведение итогов.

T: My dear boys and girls, we remembered a great number of different adjectives. We described the pictures, read the stories, as a result, we understand how useful they are. Answer my questions:

Are your shoes clean or dirty today?
